Good for her for standing up and speaking out. I guarantee you that if she were promoting gay marriage, they'd have no problem, but because she is against it, they said she should stay away from such a controversial issue. Then don't ask her the question in the first place.

Common sense should tell you how bad it is, but obviously that doesn't work on a lot of people. Ban, Ban, Ban the disgusting stuff. Now if we can just get smokers to stop using anywhere they choose as an ashtray....especially in front of doors to business, restaurants, etc.

Does the health bill proposed by Democratic Sen. Max Baucus, with its option for co-ops instead of a government-run insurance plan, offer a good middle ground?

I don't trust gov't ran anything. And I certainly don't trust them telling me that I MUST purchase something I know I can't afford. Why do they get to again control how I spend my money when they don't know how to spend "ours"!

How ridiculous! $260 mil to $88 mil. Still a lot of money, but why advertise that it's $260 when that's not even close to what you get!!!
